I majored in Cartooning at the fabulous School of Visual Arts here in Nueva York. While I still love comics I decided to to use my energies elsewhere and began teaching. While pursuing that I became the mother of a lovely little dumpling and in my time spent home with her I just had to find ways to channel my creative energy.

I started whipping up a plethora of things for my blancita, from felt toys to clips to tutus. I had a lot of fun doing that but decided to start doing something else I also found fun-painting! I began painting nails in lots of fun designs. I loved how I could combine my love of low brow culture with a medium with such a rich history. And from there I decided I needed my own custom polishes!

I started spending many hours into the wee night pouring, mixing, combining and came up with a great variety of polishes I loved. So I decided hey, I should share them here with all the other babes. I strive with each new creation to make something that represents myself and my city-a huge proponent in everything I do. I'm so proud to be from the Bronx and never shy away from saying it! I hope my polishes will speak to other chicas with blended backgrounds like myself-girls who can be both classy and trashy and love it all! And of course, who have a sense of humor ;-).
